The Foundation for Psychotherapy and Counselling was formed during the 1970s as the graduate body of wpf Counselling and Psychotherapy. All practising members are qualified to provide an appropriate and professional service.

Central to the work of therapy is reflective practice and members are required to undertake continuing professional development, in order to maintain and extend their level of competence.

The Foundation is a member of the wpf Group.
